How to use WebDav along with passwords?
Firstly, reading this text is suggested.
In the WebDav-enabled directory (e.g.: /www/wd), check Password as well. On the same page in the "Logins" section create a login+password and set it to the WebDav-enabled directory below in "Authorization". The changes will take place during the following 60 minutes. Then you can pick a WebDav client and start working.
One of the possible clients is a Windows XP built-in: My Network Places > Add a Network Place. Follow the dialogs from there. The host will be e.g. http://login:password@www.domain.tld/wd. That finishes the process.
