How do I try out my presentation before the transfer of my domain is complete?
If the domain is not fully transfered, some DNS records may still point towards your former hosting. Thus it is necessary to configure the domainname resolving manually.

For Windows XP: Open the file "C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" and into it add the following line: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx www.domain.tld,
For Linux/UNIX: Open /etc/hosts and add the following line: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx www.domain.tld, where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is your hosting machine's IP address (which can be obtained for example by nslookup domain.tld ns.pipni.cz).
The process is similar in other systems.
Note: As soon as the domain is transferred, you can remove the added line.
