How to use SVN?
First in Administration > Web select directory (must be empty) and check SVN. The changes will be reflected in one hour.
After you can in your SVN software (i.e. TortoiseSVN) fill out something like http://selected_directory.domain.tld and do Checkout, you'll see the empty Repository. So feel free to add and manage files with SVN.
Note: You have to append to url the whole path to repository.
